Our son Matt has brought such joy to us and through him we have learnt so many things about ourselves and life. He has a rare genetic syndrome called Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. This blog is where we process the things we have learnt, where we share our challenges and pains, and where we celebrate small victories.

The cousins
In February we spent two weeks in Pietermartizburg on holiday. Matt and his cousins - Jonanthan and Christopher - got to meet each other for the first time. They really seemed to enjoy getting to know one another.
So cute, jacqui. I love seeing these photos as he grows. I especially was touched by the story about Holland. So insightful. And helps me to be mindful as I run around Italy that there are other truly spectacular places in the world.
